About Hawkbit Interactive
No half measures.
We create games people recognise by their quality.
Vision
We want people to recognise our games by how they are made.
Not by genre and not by subject matter, but by an approach to aesthetics, detail and composition that runs through everything we make. We don’t commit to a genre — we take one and give it our own interpretation.
Mission
Hawkbit Interactive develops its own games and gets the most out of any budget, no matter how small.
We work as a small core team together with external specialists who are paid for their work, and we grow that team step by step.
We sell our games as premium titles: you pay once and get a complete game, with no ads and no mechanics designed to push you into paying more. Anything we offer beyond that is optional and self-contained. In the long run we want to fund ourselves through our own games, so that we can decide independently what to make next.
Values
-
We don’t ship anything we don’t stand behind
If a game, or any part of it, doesn’t meet our standards, we rework it or we cut it. A release date is not a reason to make an exception.
-
Craft over scope
Our games don’t get bigger, they get better. When time or money runs short, we cut content rather than cut corners. This holds for every project, whatever its size.
-
Respect for the player’s time
Anyone who spends time with our games gives us something they don’t get back. We answer that with quality: every hour someone spends with a Hawkbit game should show the care that went into it.
-
Our own interpretation
We take on genres, but not their habits. On every project we ask ourselves what we see differently from everyone else working in that genre.
